How prepared are you for war with real opponents with real weapons that can level cities in 20 minutes?
How mentally prepared are you? How physically prepared are you - health, preps, etc.? How emotionally prepared are you? How is your social community, if you even have one? Are you at peace with your God?
I believe we'll get through this very serious conflict okay, but what if we don't?

Either that or drop what you're doing and GTFO. Maybe you'll be at the front of the traffic jam instead of the back.
I'm pretty well prepared to "bug in" for a while. No plans to go anywhere. It's really going to suck if something big goes down when I'm 50 miles from home, though.

When I was a kid the "Air Raid Siren" went off every Wednesday at noon. I figured that would be a perfect time for an attack. Everyone would say "hey, it's Wednesday Noon and time to set my watch" :)
As for Air Raid Siren's today, waste of time and money. If War was to break out in this time in history it would be over in about 30 minutes. Pyongyang sends missile to Guam. US sends 500 missiles back. Pyongyang uninhabitable for the next 20 years or more.
China and Russia fight over who gets the contract to rebuild. The French come along and steal it from both.
Part of me wonders if we did drop something nice and heavy on NK and pounded their loudmouth leader into the ground like a tent peg how many other pain in the ass leaders would suddenly go silent.

I believe that would be one.
What about a C-17? Isn't the MOAB usually carried in a C-130?
Better yet, why not wait for one of NK's famous Parades when they bring out all their troops, mobile missile launchers, etc, and show them off to the world and their illustrious leaders. Then merely drop cluster munitions over the entire area. Focus the Anti Personnel version over the reviewing and troop area with anti tank submunitions focused on "parade vehicles".
Spread those little "bomblet's" all over the capital. They'll keep going off for a week.

Not a bad idea. I'm pretty sure those mobile launchers are cardboard. NK is only posturing to get aid from us. He may be nuts but he's not stupid enough to get into a shooting war with us. They might land a few missiles in Seoul but we would level them with all the cruise missiles I'd bet my next check we have aimed at them
From the time I was born till my early 20's we had very loud air raid sirens every Saturday morning at 8 AM sharp. They only lasted a couple of minutes though.

Doubt there are any actually aimed at this moment. Don't cruise missiles get their target instructions just prior to launch?
No matter, if anyone has been reading or listening to the news, the US military has been quietly moving all kinds of assets into striking distance. Recently some ships levt NS Everett to join other fleet ships in WestPac.
Shit will rain on "Lil Kim's" head if he wants to play games. Lots and lots of shit. Hell, we might even drop some bombs left over from the Korean War just for a symbolic gesture.
Maybe even some of the C-Rat's left over too for good measure. Just make sure they are all dated 1952
