-Will the LBGT community now want MLK statues removed because he was against Homosexuality?
-Schools be renamed?

At some point people need to step back and admit that the past was fucked up on many fronts and move forward. Part of making a change is accepting the past and correcting it.

I think it's time to protest and pressure city officials to remove the Lenin Statue in Freemont. Lenin was a champion for Socialism as well as mass murderer and political repression. For fuck's sake, the statue was salvaged out of a scrap yard in fucking Czechoslovakia! Why that schmuck from Issaquah decided it needed to be brought to the US and displayed in a US city is beyond my comprehension.

The rabid liberals are destroying every US historical artifact they can, why don't we focus on taking down the beacon of their beloved socialism....!?!?

The statue, which sports a $250,000 price tag and is still awaiting for a buyer, is often vandalized with graffiti and red paint meant to look like blood.

There's also a nice patina'd swath across his chest where it looks like someone threw piss on him.
