For fuck's sake, the statue was salvaged out of a scrap yard in fucking Czechoslovakia! Why that schmuck from Issaquah decided it needed to be brought to the US and displayed in a US city is beyond my comprehension.
The rabid liberals are destroying every US historical artifact they can, why don't we focus on taking down the beacon of their beloved socialism....!?!?
I don't give two fucks about Fremont, but I would just like to see the shithead libs get a taste of their own "medicine"...

-Will the LBGT community now want MLK statues removed because he was against Homosexuality?
-Schools be renamed?
-Holidays changed or cancelled(Presidents day)?
-Streets renamed?
-Will the $1 and $2 bill be banned because they were slave owners?
-Will museums have entire pieces of history removed?
At some point people need to step back and admit that the past was fucked up on many fronts and move forward. Part of making a change is accepting the past and correcting it.

Interesting read. If I understand correctly, it's privately owned and set on private property.
Given that, it comes under my MYOB philosophy.
If it was publicly funded or on public property, that's another story...
JMHO..

The statue, which sports a $250,000 price tag and is still awaiting for a buyer, is often vandalized with graffiti and red paint meant to look like blood.
