Looks like the suspected terrorist has fled the scene and is holed up in a bar.

At least one headline said multiple dead.

Quote:
The official death toll for the van attack still stands at one, although local media are reporting that as many as 13 could be dead. Police say 32 people have been injured, 10 of them seriously.

Catalonia’s interior minister Joaquim Forn told reporters: “Unfortunately the number of fatalities will likely rise.”

ISIS has been promoting the use of vehicle attacks on the general public since at least 2014, and likely earlier. It's interesting that the attacks seem contained to Europe. Why haven't we seen a rash of these attacks in the U.S.? Surely they hate America more...we're the ones dropping bombs on their heads and hunting them like rats. Is it because they don't fear retaliation from the European nations? I'm trying to understand.

We'll pull you from your vehicle and shoot you in the head.

Oh how I wish that we lived in a society that was closer to that, than the one that refers to murder attacks as "terror" attacks.
I am not terrified of murderers. I hate them.

Annnnd, here comes CNN's Wolf Blitzer with this little gem:

"There will be questions about copycats," Blitzer said. "There will be questions if what happened in Barcelona was at all a copycat version of what happened in Charlottesville, Virginia. Even though there may be different characters, different political ambitions, they used the same killing device: a vehicle going at high speed into a group, a large group of pedestrians."

He is not very bright is he. Hey Wolf, buddy, did you know that ISIS has been doing this for a couple years now? So, how is that a copy of Charlottesville?

I need his job, grow a grey beard, blather consistently like a putz, and get a big paycheck.

So much tragic violence in the world. Most of it at the hands of fascists and radical Islam.

I did find one interesting picture - this guy appears to be an armed civilian or perhaps undercover officer in Spain? What are the gun laws in Spain I wonder?

It's long past time to ban assault vehicles. Who needs a super-charged BMW or Corvette?

Paul Allen may need to give up his collection for the children.

EDIT: And it's confirmed that ISIS has accepted responsibility.

Yeah that is an odd picture. He looks like he is running away from the scene because of how most of the cop cars are parked, and he doesn't have a badge out. If I was a Plain clothes cop, I'd at least have my badge out if the bad g7y is still on the loose.
