You might not like him, but he is still the President of the United States of America. People need to get a grip on that and roll with it.
I am just ready for Football season and you can keep all the politics in a box as far as I am concerned until he next election.
Sorry to break it to you but...
http://www.cnsnews.com/blog/craig-banni ... nal-anthem Meh, who gives a shit. It's not a requirement.
I like to watch the game. I enjoy the things on the field as well as the strategy of the game. If a few players don't want to stand for the National Anthem, that's their problem.
I stand for the National Anthem, and I have taught my Son to do so and he learns respect for himself and what the original intent of the Flag, The National Anthem, The Pledge Of Allegiance and the 2ND Amendment stands for.
If a few over paid football players try to make a political statement over it, so be it. I do not live my life by what they say, I do not even know them, they have no impact on my life what so ever. The National Anthem will be played long after they have left the field for good and somebody takes their place.
Colin Kapernick would be playing right now on the Seahawks if he was not so greedy and want more money. So it not about his political statement, it is about him wanting more $$, he can go broke for all I care and go eat at a soup kitchen.
Question; Do people care if their Cancer Doctor believes in the National Anthem? NO! Do you care that the pilot flying the plane you are going on vacation stands for the National Anthem?, NO. Do you even know if the person that signs your paycheck even knows about the National Anthem, let alone stand up for it? You not gong to take the money? I bet you do.
At the end of the day, nobody really gives a shit. That is what is not broadcasted on TV and Social media.
