I came to the conclusion that i really dont like Jack Black, Will Ferral and Ben Stiller....although all of them have made some real funny movies like Tropic Thunder and the Other Guys, both awesomely funny movies....and now a gratuitous scene from the funniest movie ever made...

Slim Pickens from Blazing Saddles ... awesome... Here's a cameo from a black comedy of the Cold War, Doctor Strangelove

On the whole I think Adam Sandler movies are pretty mediocre though I will forward Happy Gilmore as a comedy masterpiece

Classic lines still in use. One of his best. Great movie.

A lot of my favorites have already been mentioned, such as Supertroopers, Anchorman, Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle (the sequel, Harold and Kumar go to Guantanamo Bay, was also pretty good). Dr. Strangelove is a classic, and I need to watch it again.

Half Baked is a great stoner comedy, and I love all the cameos it had (including Willie Nelson. "You know how much condoms cost back in the 60s?" "How much?" "Hell, I dunno, we never used 'em".)

Horrible Bosses is a great one too.

South Park: Bigger. Longer. Uncut. is a great one.

It's not a purely Comedic movie, but according to the never-wrong Wikipedia, it is a Comedy film. So I'll nominate The Princess Bride.

There are funnier movies, but no movie has everything it has. Fencing, fighting, torture, revenge, giants, monsters, chases, escapes, true love, miracles.

Monty Python's Holy Grail, Blazing Saddles, Airplane, etc., etc....

Most of them have been covered. I'll throw in Spies Like Us.

...and the classic, M.A.S.H.

Lots of classics listed here. Recently “Good Boys” was a favorite. Watched it on the flight to Vegas drinking woodford doubles at 11am. Might’ve been the whiskey but I thought it was funny as hell.

Video of funny Monty Python clips. Good stuff.
