Good news: my sig srd762 is ready for pick up at Rehv arms!

Bad news: my Rugged Oculus that I ordered the day before the srd762 is still awaiting stamp approval.

So much for "in the order the batfe receives them." Now I have to decide if I should drive down just to pick up the sig can or wait for the rugged can to be approved also. I'm eager but Covington is a long haul from Marysville.

And just a note for those that saw my thread about getting impatient, I didn't call and bug Rehv. Good things come to those who wait, right?

That's a long drive. I'd sit tight until you can pick up both. Odds are you won't be waiting to much longer for the second one.

Exactly right, the oculus was approved 2 days later, I just drove down and picked them both up yesterday

Bad News: As I was cleaning out my car today after yesterday's range trip, there was a good-sized spider hanging right next to my face.

Good News: I successfully got him to cling onto a glove, and I safely delivered him to the driveway. :thumbsup2:

Bad News: OH FUCKITY FUCK, IS THAT WHAT I THINK IT IS?!!

Worse News: He did not survive the photo shoot.

Good News: After five minutes of internet research, I am an accomplished arachnologist and I have determined that his death was not actually necessary, as he was a Steatoda grossa, or "False Black Widow."

At least, I'm pretty sure. icon_eek

But to be fair, he does look an awful lot like a faded version of a male black widow:

The red Hourglass on a Black Widow is on the Underside Steve. I still would have smashed his Ass though, just for being near my face.

I have a friend who has an alergic reaction to spiders. He screams like a little girl.

Then he finds a spray can and a lighter and torches them.

Bad news: Late sending off my 1120S info to my CPA. Small discrepancy on deposits.
Good news: Called the bank, asked for a list showing all of my deposits for 2017.
Bad news: Stupid kid emails me pdf's of 60-70 pages of bank statements, half of them are upside down, most are out of order.

I need a new bank.

Good news: My sister in SC gets the week off from work with pay.
Bad news: Hurricane coming, area has been ordered to be evacuated.

Good news: Her husband is a construction superintendent, bringing home a 65KW generator, has it wired to their house.
Bad news: 130+ MPH winds and 2 feet of rain. And they are staying home.

Good news: Costco has cheap gas
Bad news: They are all out of gas, with a line going half a mile down the road.

Good news: She left Texas because of the tornadoes, friend 2 blocks down had the roof blown off her house.
Bad news: Moved into the South Carolina Hurricane of the Year Club.

Good news: At least they have Cracker Barrel, love their food. Most expensive thing on the menu is $9.99.
Bad news: Haven't seen anyone actually eat the grits, probably just dry wall spackle that they keep scraping off the plates and putting back in the pot.

Bad news: they didn't have the mounting tracks (said they'd been cancelled...hmmm)

Good news: I persuaded the driver to call and find out if they were merely back-ordered...
Bad news: his dispatcher didn't know and rather than find out, told me to call the online sales desk

good news: They gave me the number
bad news: online sales doesn't answer the phone! [sigh]

Bad news: Subway ended the $5 Footlong promotions after franchise owners complained.
Good news: I won't be going to Subway anymore because $5 is all that shit is worth.
For $6.49 I can get lunch at a Chinese place with an entree, fried rice, soup, salad, egg roll, tea, real plate, and a metal fork.

Good news: Some Subways may still offer it, pretty sure the one in a gas station by Meadowdale Elementary will.

Edit: In the late 90's we had a Subway by our office, they had the little round turkey and cheese sandwiches for 79 cents.
