Sounds like a self defense situation.

Multiple postings on FB by people who say they know her, say she's been in trouble with the law multiple times but always manages to get away with it.... But, so far, based on witnesses say, she may be justified.... Quote: Short version: Female motorcycle rider in carpool lane wasn't tailgating the person in front of her like everyone does in traffic because she was on a motorcycle. The person behind her got aggressive and drove on the shoulder just to swerve at her twice to sideswipe her. They both pulled over, immediately physically started to fight, the guy pulled her down by her hair and he was on top of her, she shot him in the chest. I, along with lots of other witnesses pulled over to help...I called 911 and ran to him with 3 other people, the bullet exited out his back but he wasn't bleeding out too much yet, must have been internal which is worse...I took off my work sweatshirt and put it under his head for comfort, I put pressure with one hand on his wound and held his other hand and said you will be ok, stay calm their is an ambulance on the way now. 5 minutes later he stopped breathing, the police were there by then and they started chest compressions...continued for 10-15 minutes before the aid car arrived. He was deceased before they could do anything.

Don't get in a fight with somebody that has a gun. I've had a bunch of people go crazy while driving on i90. I've wondered if a giant 24" sticker like this in my rear window would get them to calm down and back off. https://www.amazon.com/Sticker-Vinyl-De ... 0711K71GV/

Probably. That stuff isn't that expensive. The labor of weeding and transposing the transfer paper kinda makes the expense. I wouldn't be trying to make a profit......I just have the machine and some vinyl

might get you a ticket if it obstructs to much of your rear window

Wouldn't her claim of self-defense be dependent on who was the initial aggressor in the road rage incident? In other words, if she instigated then her claim of self-defense would be nullified I believe. So a lot of this comes down to who started the bloody thing.
That being said, getting out of your car on a freeway is a really bad idea regardless of the road rage incident. You're taking a big risk of being struck by another vehicle. On top of that you never know who you are going into an altercation with, their state of mind, their physical fighting skills, and/or whether they're packing.
My two cents always better to try to avoid a situation where you might have to use your gun in the first place, it should be a tool of the last resort. Why subject yourself to potential criminal and civil liability IF the whole thing can be reasonably avoided i.e. don't stop and don't get out of your car/off your motorcycle.
Edit: Just saw the post by TW. If true, then it seems pretty cut and dry self-defense. The male decedent instigated the road rage incident then attacked the female after they both pulled over. Under physical disparity of force, it can be reasonably assumed the male is capable of inflicting serious bodily injury or death on a female by virtue of physical size and strength. If the witness statement is true, she likely has a valid claim to self-defense.
