That's one sick fucker. "My goal is at least twenty people..." Yup, that's where we are now. The fucking media continues to trumpet the subject of school shootings from the rooftops, and now all the sick fucks are going for a high score. It's a challenge.

The fucking media continues to trumpet the subject of school shootings from the rooftops, and now all the sick fucks are going for a high score. It's a challenge. We live in a time where logic and sense are called radical or racist. Being brain dead and listening to media shills who blame guns and not known psychopaths for killings is now a badge to wear openly because society has degraded so far. I am even sick of the phrase mass shooting. Call it what it is, a psycho murdered people. End of story. The people who agree with gun restrictions based on the media hype are fools or cowards. The Twilight Zone was prophetic: "You walk into this room at your own risk, because it leads to the future, not a future that will be but one that might be. This is not a new world, it is simply an extension of what began in the old one. It has patterned itself after every dictator who has ever planted the ripping imprint of a boot on the pages of history since the beginning of time. It has refinements , technological advancements, and a more sophisticated approach to the destruction of human freedom. But like every one of the superstates that preceded it, it has one iron rule: logic is an enemy and truth is a menace."

Judge rejects embattled school deputy's claim he had no duty to confront Parkland gunman https://www.cbsnews.com/news/marjory-stoneman-douglas-shooting-judge-rejects-officer-scot-peterson-claim-he-had-no-duty-to-confront-gunman/?ftag=CNM-00-10aag7eQuote: A judge has rejected a deputy's claim that he had no duty to confront the gunman during the school shooting in Parkland, Florida. Refusing to dismiss a lawsuit filed by the parent of a victim, Broward Circuit Judge Patti Englander Henning found after a hearing Wednesday that ex-deputy Scot Peterson did have a duty to protect those inside the school where 17 people died and 17 were wounded Feb. 14. Quote: The commission also hammered then-security monitor Andrew Medina, who told investigators he saw Cruz entering the campus carrying a rifle bag and recognized him as the same student whom staff had previously identified as a potential school shooter. But instead of confronting Cruz or calling a Code Red, Medina radioed a security monitor inside the freshman building, investigators have said. He then drove his cart to get Peterson at the school's administration offices. Medina told investigators shortly after the shooting that he was wary of calling a "Code Red" without more certainty about what was going on.
Commissioner and Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd called Medina's failure to stop Cruz "reprehensible," but also criticized the district for laying the brunt of school security on low-paid employees who have little training.
Medina was fired in June after it was revealed he had sexually harassed two female students last year, including Pollack's daughter.

Nope. It was only the guns. Guns caused this.
As sarcastic and out of touch as that sounds, there are people that believe it

Interesting contrast to the episode this week, where the officers paid to serve & protect engaged immediately, and the only one hurt was the perpetrator...
Funny how that scenario didn't need to enact new laws or fuck with the Constitution.

I don't have any LE experience, but plenty in the security biz...it's hard to get intelligent, talented, proactive people. You get a lot of lazy f***s who spend their shifts playing pocket pool and writing "All secure" in a book every hour. Some really are great but they rarely stick around for long.
As for LE, I have to think if you're in charge of a bunch of cops, who are you going to assign to protect a school? I would want my best people out on the streets dealing with actual crimes. I'd send the window lickers and booger eaters to guard schools. So just having LE at schools might not be the total answer...as proven in Florida.

https://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/fl ... story.htmlCourt rules cops had no duty to protect students. So...uhh.... ' Protect and serve'? Kinda throws that whole 'just call the cops' thing out the window, again, doesn't it?

Florida sheriff Scott Israel, blamed in Parkland shooting aftermath, is dealt blow by state’s Supreme Court https://www.foxnews.com/us/florida-sheriff-blamed-parkland-shootingQuote: Florida’s Supreme Court dealt a blow Tuesday to Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel, ruling Gov. Ron DeSantis had the legal authority to remove the embattled lawman from office amid widespread criticism Israel failed to prevent the Parkland high school shooting.
The state’s highest court said DeSantis was within his rights when he suspended Israel from the Broward post in January. The justices noted, however, that, under the Florida Constitution, the state Senate is responsible for deciding whether the removal should be permanent.
"Today's Florida Supreme Court opinion leaves no doubt of my authority as governor to suspend a government official for neglect of duty and incompetence," DeSantis said in a statement shortly after the decision was handed down. "Scott Israel failed in his duties to protect the families and students of Broward County, and the time for delay tactics is at an end. I look forward to the Florida Senate resuming the process of formal removal."

That sheriff was a total disgrace for his in-actions, and attempting to defend the inepitutde of his office and cowardice of the guard Peterson. I hope he loses any pensions he was reportedly going to receive. Total inept coward.
