When they raise the age requirement for the draft or enlistment ("they" won't) I MIGHT agree with raising the age of ownership to 21.

Well, he moved on from porn & spamming, to guns....I guess hell find something else:

Before I get yelled at for this, my point is that maybe he is more of an online retailer, than a gun guy, and he'll move on to the next thing he can peddle.....

That's all. Maybe he's a salesman, and not so much a gun guy.

Salesmen say what they think people want to hear, and it looks like he'll peddle anything.

He is a gun guy. I have talked with Jason quite a few times over the years both at his shop and at WCA Bellevue. Too bad because I have stated elsewhere that I will no longer buy from his store. Maybe I am old fashioned but I am tired of continually having our rights eroded because a few people are insane and do not act socially responsible. If you can move out and live on your own, you have a right to defend yourself. I do not like the handgun rule of 21 years either. I had handguns and rifles when I was under 18, as did most of my friends. If a person is a piece of trash that would kill someone at 18 years of age, can we really believe they will magically change at age 21? I have seen no evidence to support that assumption.

I often just put stuff out there, and let people draw their own conclusions, but in this case, I just want to say that I have a hard time taking moral lessons, on constitutional issues, from someone who also generates an income from Internet porn sites.

So now this shop has gone from advocating it, to making it their own policy, to now lobbying to get state law changed.

Any $ spent at this store will help destroy your gun rights. This is war. Lets get him sued for discrimination asap.

Talk to the resident punk. I think he's still under 21. We've had our on-going differences that most likely will be never-ending.

However I'll donate $100.00 to the cause of him buying a rifle from there. This is a shit-show I wanna watch. Anyone else?

I`m in for $100 who else is going to put their money where their mouth is?

If someone actually is going to do it that is known on the site, I'll be happy to drop $100 just for the satisfaction.

That would be more effective if the name of the business and the website were correct . . . .

Internet porn has no bearing on my thoughts on this. Spamming, trying to reduce our rights, and generally being a shithead sure do, though.

Internet porn has no bearing on my thoughts either, except as it applies to this guy.

My point is that he's moralizing in one arena, why exploiting it in another.

Another tie-in was he wants unfettered First Amendment rights for his porn sites, but is willing to give ground on Second Amendment rights.

This guy is getting a lot of press from CNN, KIRO7, Q13 FOX, Breitbart, etc.
There is no such thing as bad publicity. However, I don't know who he is going to sell to.
He can discriminate IMO to whom he sells to, however his timing is suspect.
I'm afraid he is becoming a Judas Goat for us all.
Compromise, compromise, compromise, always on our part.

Basically the owner of LPG's wants the age requirement to purchase Long Guns to be raised to 21 instead of 18.

I know I'll get flamed for saying this but I'm saying it anyway, that's not the worst idea I've ever heard.

It would not pass Constitutional review. 18 is tha age of majority to vote. You would have to change the age of majority which would impact our military as well.

Consider that at 17, I was already an expert marksman in the Army and by 18 I was patrolling the South Korean DMZ. There will always be psychos of all ages. What would this law do to effectively address criminal use of firearms? Nothing.

Agree, but am still fuzzy how so many other decisions that should be left to an adult are restricted... FFL handgun sales is 100% relevant.
Chuck has pointed out a few times how the PX restricts firearms and ammo sales to 21 and older.
If a person is an adult at 18, how are states able to restrict adult decisions like smoking, drinking, etc?

Personally, I think it's shameful that we have regressed from adulthood to infancy with all of our wealth and resources.
