Anyway, back to the topic at hand....
It will be an interesting season, to say the least.
A bit of a changing of the guard for the 'Hawks', which was needed, and a crazy carousel of mid & top tier players throughout the league.
It will be fun to watch how all this flushes out....seems to be drama or player movement everywhere ....

I suppose my interest in the Hawks will grow when the Season starts, but all the drama with them and the NFL has really dampened my enthusiasm after 35+ years of being a Fan.

That's actually part of my enthusiasm for this year....less drama outside the lines.
A few of these guys weren't all that good when they first got here, and many stayed due to the patience and teaching of a lot of coaches.
Not to imply they weren't athletic, or talented, or didn't work hard....just saying they didn't do it alone, and some would have been benched elsewhere a few times during their development, but got more playing time & faster development here.
They've got their money, and they're off to be 'happier'....so good luck, and thanks for your time here.
Looking forward to see how the new team meshes, and how other players in the league do after having changed teams.

Yeah, Chancellor retired, but that doesn't mean Vernon Davis has stopped wincing when his wife tosses him a loaf of bread at the grocery store.
Steve Largeant was my #1 all time favorite player, followed by Bam Bam. Glad he went out a hawk.

Did anyone see that Cowboys player's ankle totally snap in half? That was really hard to watch. I knew something was not quite right when he was laying on the ground and his foot was spun around in the wrong direction.

Yeah that was brutal. Figured it wasn't good when his leg was twisted weird.

Yeah, saw that...the two idiots were saying they weren't sure what was wrong, while the camera showed him face down, but his one foot was pointed up
Then the replay was awful, too...
