Today, all day, I was also highly doubting that Sessions had the stones to fire McCabe. I don't know what made him wait until literally now to do it but I'm so thankful McCabe is fired. This news is the best news all week. I secretly wonder if they maliciously waited until the last minute to really rub salt in the wound... Dude was a deeply corrupt FBI swamp creature. Fraud, kickbacks, lying, leaking, conflict of interest... I LOVE IT. This will server serious justice and send awesome shock waves thru the DOJ, and save tax payers millions of dollars paying this corrupt swamp creature. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/03 ... fired.htmlBy Brooke Singman, Jake Gibson | Fox News Quote: [img]The Justice Department dealt a stunning blow to former Acting FBI Director Andrew McCabe on Friday night, firing him just days before he would have been eligible for a lifetime pension after determining that he lied to investigators reviewing the bureau’s probe of Hillary Clinton’s email server.
"After an extensive and fair investigation and according to Department of Justice procedure, the Department’s Office of the Inspector General (OIG) provided its report on allegations of misconduct by Andrew McCabe to the FBI’s Office of Professional Responsibility (OPR)," Sessions said.
Sessions’ decision to fire McCabe came as Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz concluded a bureau oversight investigation, with a report expected to be critical of McCabe’s handling of the Clinton email probe, his handling of the bureau during the early months of the Russia investigation, and his ties to the Democratic Party.
Horowitz determined that McCabe hadn't been forthcoming in regard to the handling of the FBI’s probe into Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of state in the Obama administration.
The inspector general’s finding sparked an FBI disciplinary process that recommended McCabe’s firing.[/img] Might also face CRIMINAL charges. And he frankly should. They strung up plenty of people over the years for similar or less, like lying to the FBI, like General Flynn for a trivial lie unrelated to any investigation. I hope they hang his ***.

If an enlisted guy who took pictures aboard a Navy ship (while others of higher rank did) went to jail (not malicious), someone of higher rank and importance ought to live under a higher standard.

Now he can go home to his loser wife and they can compare their sob stories.
Maybe he'll hold a press conference and cry that Trump broke him, like that crazy red-headed cunt Kathy Griffin

Even better, him defending himself now is leading to making statements that may get Comey prosecuted too.

If he 'earned' that pension... By breaking the law.... It would be fitting that he lose it.

The DU is abuzz with some pretty wacky posts and articles today. https://www.democraticunderground.com/Dem offers to hire McCabe to help him qualify for his pension Breaking: AP learns McCabe kept memos regarding Trump McCABE Not Going Quietly: "This is part of an effort to discredit me as a witness." Blumenthal: McCabe firing is 'added evidence of obstruction of justice' Democrat calls for 'open hearings' on Trump administration after McCabe firing Ex-CIA director slams Trump after McCabe firing: You'll be remembered as a 'disgraced demagogue' Trumps Data Firm Exploited Private Data From Millions of Facebook Users Edit: I thought this was kinda funny Andrew McCabe served on FBI SWAT teams, risking his life. He worked counterterror. He investigated Boston Marathon bombing. He is a great American. Trump fired this REPUBLICAN 24 hours before his retirement to deny him a pension out of spite. Trump is a corrupt monster.

The FBI OPR (Office of Professional Responsibility) is who actually recommended the firing. In other words a group of his peers that have known and worked with him for years...
When those who usually have your back recommend that you be terminated, there has to be some serious evidence of malfeasance.

Can't believe people really think like that. But it's a good way to look into the mind of the opposition. I can only take 3 or so minutes there at a time. Typical: Kurt Eichenwald Verified account @kurteichenwald "I know from my work: Donald Trump is a criminal and former drug addict who is unworthy to lick dirt off of Andrew McCabe’s shoes. One spent his life breaking laws and destroying people. The other risked his life enforcing laws to help people. This act exposes Trump for what he is "

The funny thing about this McCabe firing is that it was recommended by the FBI's own internal investigaton and their OPR office....basically the same thing as IA.
So just remember, all you goofy Leftys, you get all giddy when SPD IA does what it does and now SPD doesn't arrest vagrants and petty criminals.....look at your Emerald City....the San Francisco of the PNW.
McCabe doesn't deserve shit, and I hope DOJ digs further and further into this and brings criminal charges against this guy.

Watching your house of horrors crumble IS kinda cool, you have to admit. You can't really defend this shit? Why would a liberal like a non-reportable FBI anyway? Just not reporting to ANY elected official? Just seems odd.

I was surprised that Sessions fired him, too. About 6pm last night, I resigned myself to none of this happening. Crooked crooks are gonna crook.
Then at 7pm, *BOOM*. I smiled.
I watched the anti-American press for a while after I got the relevant factual information that Laura Ingraham was breaking, then turned to CNN, later MSNBC, for entertainment and curiosity.
They were melting down. You would have thought that Trump had ordered him to be Pinochet-ed (thrown out of a flying helicopter). The amount of screeching was as bad as I ever saw it. Nobody was getting near an actual fact, or questioned why McCabe was fired, only that this proved Trump to be more evil than Satan. Oh, and our country was being destroyed by Trump. They brought on "experts" of some kind to reinforce this.
These "news" organizations have lost any semblance of credibility. Why anyone would depend on them for accurate reporting is beyond me. If CNN were an NFL team, they would be on their 2rd 0-16 season, and telling the world they are the best at football. It was consistent with their Trump hate they broadcast the past 2 years, but even worse. They were out of control, uttering sheer nonsense. I didn't care what they said because I have seen their manipulation of news before, but I did wonder what effect their nonsense had to others watching it who never heard of Andrew McCabe.
This is just the first inning, first batter. There are a lot of corrupt players that are going down after this. This is just the proverbial tip of the iceberg.
Damn, I so badly want to see McCabe, Comey, and so many other corrupt players get perp walked in public. I now believe it will eventually happen. And CNN is seemingly wanting to be on the side of the felon. OK.
The Inspector General Horowitz has been investigating this corruption over a year now, even before Trump was elected, and it is believed that some of that report plainly said McCabe broke the law, and lied to other government officials. He leaked secret information about the FBI investigation of the Clinton Foundation to a CNN reporter. This report is due anytime in the next few weeks. it was supposed to be out by now, but it is reported the IG keeps finding more corruption, which he has to add to the report, delaying it.
Sessions used info from this source, plus the recommendation from another internal investigation body (OPR)? that McCabe broke the law, and lied to other FBI agents.
There is NOTHING worse to a society than a corrupt, lying police force. Look to our neighbors to the south for proof (no, NOT Oregon). The cartels run most of Mexico and the people live in fear.
