Even better, him defending himself now is leading to making statements that may get Comey prosecuted too.

Such as what?

Watching your house of horrors crumble IS kinda cool, you have to admit. You can't really defend this shit? Why would a liberal like a non-reportable FBI anyway? Just not reporting to ANY elected official? Just seems odd.

I was looking for the statements tha Alpine is referencing without a referance. Dont know much about this, so Im trying to get a bearing.

Why do they preface the article with this? Seems fishy right off the bat.:

Interesting tweets by ex CIA director John Brennen this morning:

Former CIA chief John Brennan did not mince his words when taking aim at President Donald Trump on Saturday morning.

"When the full extent of your venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history," he wrote. "You may scapegoat Andy McCabe, but will not destroy America... America will triumph over you."

From the article:
Quote:
Trump would be unwise to take such action. Instead, McCabe’s firing should reinforce calls for an independent investigation with the maximum level of transparency. The same is true for the Russia investigation of the Trump campaign. This country is deeply divided over the allegations against Trump and his opponents. We will not overcome this chasm until we are satisfied that we have the full factual record from the Clinton and Russia investigations.

I agree. If one or both are a waste of money in regards to actually getting a prosecution (due to no actual illegal activity) then let's get it over with to try to satisfy enough of each side's opposing camp with some transparency.
I've never experienced such a deep divide in the political arena. A bunch of people on each side (D's and R's) believe that the opposing candidate 2 Novembers ago actually belong in federal prison, or worse.
The country is careening out of control and I don't believe that we can sustain this level of divide for too many years without it erupting into some bloodletting.

I guess what's pissing me off more than anything is the D's are offering McCabe some kind of senate job so he can keep his retirement. :cussing:

Any investigation should start with establishing whether any of the supposed events in 2015 and 2016 actually occurred and are worth investigating, the people who told us they did happen are not independent or unbiased and have been caught lying before under oath.

You mean this Brennan?

As reports emerged Thursday that an internal investigation by the Central Intelligence Agency’s inspector general found that the CIA “improperly” spied on US Senate staffers when researching the CIA’s dark history of torture, it was hard to conclude anything but the obvious: John Brennan blatantly lied to the American public. Again.

Going to really argue he's credible?

These swamp critters are all full of crap to protect THEIR "state". I find it really really weird the press creatures who have their roots in Woodward and Bernstein school of "get government" journalism refuse to even go one layer down. But that is party politics I guess.

There are so many threads of information surrounding the 2016 operation to conduct political surveillance on the Trump campaign by various officials and offices within corrupt structures of government it’s easy to get lost. However, if we take all the various bits of information and place them together a less confusing picture emerges.

I trust John Brennan with the truth about as much as I trust James Comey to give an accurate lecture on Criminal prosecutorial procedure or honor.

"Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm -- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves." – T.S. Eliot

"The right of self defence is the first law of nature: in most governments it has been the study of rulers to confine this right within the narrowest limits possible. Wherever standing armies are kept up, and the right of the people to keep and bear arms is, under any colour or pretext whatsoever, prohibited, liberty, if not already annihilated, is on the brink of destruction." - St. George Tucker

A careful definition of words would destroy half the agenda of the political left and scrutinizing evidence would destroy the other half. - Thomas Sowell

"To ban guns because criminals use them is to tell the innocent and law-abiding that their rights and liberties depend not on their own conduct, but on the conduct of the guilty and the lawless, and that the law will permit them to have only such rights and liberties as the lawless will allow...

For society does not control crime, ever, by forcing the law-abiding to accommodate themselves to the expected behavior of criminals. Society controls crime by forcing the criminals to accommodate themselves to the expected behavior of the law-abiding." - Jeff Snyder

Personal weapons are what raised mankind out of the mud, and the rifle is the queen of personal weapons. The possession of a good rifle, as well as the skill to use it well, truly makes a man the monarch of all he surveys. It realizes the ancient dream of the Jovian thunderbolt, and as such it is the embodiment of personal power. For this reason it exercises a curious influence over the minds of most men, and in its best examples it constitutes an object of affection unmatched by any other inanimate object.

With the 2014 spying-on-Congress debacle and all the libs screaming about it back then resurfacing in the news, suddenly people defending Brennan and retweeting his drivel has suddenly dropped off...
