Has anyone head about the author's assertions that there has been pressure to retain personnel by delaying separation? Medic back then. If you have every "signed" a contract to enlist in the military... there's a clause in there... small print and all. Yes, they can call you. Although to "fit" in a uniform... I may need a maternity uniform

Nothing in the Army Times or early bird report. I certainly haven't seen a push for retention outside of the norm. All the quality retention boards have typical outcomes. Might be certain MOS have critical shortages (I know the AF is having trouble retaining mechs). That would be nothing new though. These things go in cycles.
