Libs only like laws that affect others. That's the same thought that crossed my mind when I read it.

Perhaps the school should make ballistic backpacks mandatory. At least that might actually help

The movers at Microsoft had to carry their stuff in clear plastic bags. They stole everything that wasn't nailed down.

Once again, the rules and laws they rush to enact post haste, after the fact, would have done nothing to prevent what thay are reacting to.
Meanwhile, accountability for the myriad of rules and laws that weren't followed continues to be ignored. My thoughts exactly. Clear backpacks and ID arent going to help and wouldn’t have prevented the shooting..

And if the (clear) backpacks aren't full, you'll get a better picture of where to aim.

Here’s a better one: http://wnep.com/2018/03/22/superintende ... -shooting/Superintendent says students are armed with rocks in case of a school shooting. Thought this was a joke but apparently it’s not “every classroom will have a 5 gallon jug of river rocks” My bet is that a rock will be thrown at another student far before it’s thrown at a shooter.

Personal weapons are what raised mankind out of the mud, and the rifle is the queen of personal weapons. The possession of a good rifle, as well as the skill to use it well, truly makes a man the monarch of all he surveys. It realizes the ancient dream of the Jovian thunderbolt, and as such it is the embodiment of personal power. For this reason it exercises a curious influence over the minds of most men, and in its best examples it constitutes an object of affection unmatched by any other inanimate object.

Sent from Proxima Centauri B through the ether using FTP transmission technology, Honey Encryption, and Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches Strip searches, metal detectors, cameras, guards, locked doors. It will be just as safe as being inside a prison. And you know nothing bad ever happens in that utopian community.

When I was a teenager 35 years ago and live in Pasadena, Ca. We had school uniforms and metal detectors, because gangs were so bad.
Shootings and stabbing happened all the time. Schools are a lot safer now then back in my day.

Unless they put metal detectors in there will always be an issue.

This story gave me much lulz. And here I thought public schools weren't teaching kids anything useful. I stand corrected. Awwww, but the learning, sometimes it kinda hurts, doesn't it? If they aren't happy now, just wait until the rest of the school district's plan goes into effect. Additional measures under consideration are funneling students through fewer entry points, the use of handheld wands, and possibly installation of full-fledged metal detectors. Few more details here -- http://www.miamiherald.com/news/local/community/broward/article206288209.htmlThe teenage indignation should be hip deep pretty soon.

Hopefully with each additional infraction there are even more restrictive policies.... Give em a taste of what they want done with the 2A. The lesson will probably get lost in the normal "whats good for me isn't for thee" Liberal policies.

Assault rocks in a high capacity jug. First used by Cain to kill Abel. Sounds like another bad idea.
