Calling on all responsible gun owners to exercise their God given right to open carry in a city that hates the Constitution. The intent isn't to antagonize, but to exercise a right that is under attack. Joey Gibson who is running for the US Senate will be available to give a speech and to personally meet anyone. Open carry in Seattle is 100% legal.

Folks on TOS and elsewhere are saying they will attend stating that a demonstration in the heart of Libtardia will have greater impact, and be more accessible for folks from the Great White North. (that wasn't meant to be rayciss - maybe I should say Canadia or just be conformist and state that folks from King and Sno-Ho counties may be more inclined to attend given the reduced travel)

Anyway. What's the consensus here on WaGuns? Anyone going?

I am not going. I don't think an OC march in Seattle will do ANYTHING to help our cause. I think, if anything, it's going to cause a chain reaction of events that will keep us on the defensive about our rights. The lawmakers are not in Seattle, the sheep are in Seattle. You don't bring in a pack of wolves into a herd and expect that the sheep are going to be okay with it.

That, and if you look at the event, some of the promoters are also a part of the anarchist movement march that is also happening.

Aaaaaand, an armed march violates RCW 38.48.120, as stupid as that is.

It's a parade.

It's very likely that the RCW is unconstitutional for free speech grounds as long as the marchers are peaceful and do not brandish.

OCers have marched in parades in WA before. I found this picture on Whatcom Open Carry, not 100% sure it's a parade but it looks like one. The photo was tagged Bellingham Women's March and they are an organization of people openly armed apparently parading in it.

We need rich right-wing corporations to pony up for our cause but alas, they would be shut down by the liberal mainstream media and boycotted by all the unions.
It only works one way folks the liberal way...
