Cop doesn't like being filmed and claims the go pro could be a weapon...
The only unsafe one I see is the idiot cop with a gun out of his holster....

I agree that the officer went overboard . . . but that photographer is a douchebag of the first degree. I kinda want to shoot him too.
Assholes still have rights, and pulling a gun on a guy with a camera and claiming 'OMG GUN!' is bullshit of the highest order...
Pulling your weapon is a deadly threat..

Think both are a bit of an idiot. That cop needs some retraining and some counseling. No reason I see that he had any reason to draw that firearm. Place hand on maybe.
Not sure why the dude with the camera stopped as he walked by? Not sure why the cop felt the need to ask him where he was coming from. Would be nice to know the missing info to better determine if either were acting reasonably.

Filming from a public sidewalk is not a crime. Cop pulls his gun? Cops are paid professionals, they should be held to a higher standard. Camera guy being a prick or not is irrelevant, he said nothing until cop pulled his sidearm. WTF?

So, you guys are OK with a cop pulling a gun on a photographer..... 'because he was a dick'?
WTF?
He didn't even open his mouth until the cop went for his gun.
Even if he WAS a dick, you think it's okay to threaten lethal force to a guy for 'being a dick'?
Wow... just... wow....

Someone was out there with the express intent to fuck with someone, start an incident, and continue to escalate the situation. And it wasn't the cops.
The photographer should have been arrested for 415 'Disturbing the peace'. The officers were all calm, the photographer was acting insane. Can easily see why the Sergent made rank.
