Looks like the most recent initiative is going to get some strong support.

“AR15s aren’t used for hunting” isn’t an excuse anymore.

This is terrible.. have there been an abnormal amount of school shootings this year or is it just the media’s representation of it?

Tragic.

What's also tragic is that today, at least 9 people will die and 1,000 injured from texting and driving even though it's illegal in most places.

Quote:
In the United States:

26% of all car crashes in 2014 involved cell phone use.
At least 9 people are killed every day because of a distracted driver.
More than 1,000 people are injured every day due to a distracted driver.
In 2015 42% of teens say they have texted while driving—and texting and driving is the leading cause of death in teens.

Ban cell phones!

It must not have been an AR or AK, or we would have heard about it by now.

Confirmed shotgun and .38 revolver.

How long before we hear ban revolvers?

He's being painted as a Trump supporter, Neo Nazi, and gun lover.

CenturyLink Field holds 67,000.
How long does it take to get those people in there after going through security?
Average high school, around 1,000~2,000(?)
Get my point?

Yep.

How about a focus on the ROOT CAUSE. If we leave it to the press, root cause analysis will never happen.

This is a snippet of what I posted on one of the news sites.

Quote:
...and when Monday comes, parents will send their kids off to schools with the same sign that's been posted there for years. "This is a gun free zone."

Yep, those signs realllllly help.

ROOT CAUSE does not sell advertising space.

Signs........sigh.

Reminds me of a liberal teacher who had her purse stolen at school.

Another teacher said "Ya, what we need is a big sign in the lunch room telling students not to steal"
She said "Exactly!"
The other teacher said "We had one a few years ago but you voted to have it taken down."

Believe the line was "Thou shalt not steal"

O I get your point!

But of course the kids will then complain about having to go through security to get to school and how it feel like prison. And of course do you really think politicians would actually give funds to implement systems? School security has been a topic since at least 2012 and jack shit has been done about it.

They DO care.

They just don't care about the kids. They care about their own goals.

They want the security to stay exactly the way it is, because they WANT kids to continue getting killed. It's their best bet to be able to keep pushing for gun control.
