Husqvarna makes quite a few private label ride on mowers, including a lot of Craftsman labelled mowers.
Looked under the seat at the manufacturers label, and you'll see...

Its my understanding that Deeres from stores, dont have the same warranty/support as one bought from their true dealership. Something to do with they're Chinese mowers with green decals. When I was shopping I was told if I was to go with Deere, make sure and buy one from the dealer.

I want to say that Cub Cadet is completely chinese made...some parts for John Deere are too.
That said, I had a Toro rider for 16 years before I sold it (still functioning) and bought a John Deere D110. Great mower. You can't go run with a Deere. Nothing runs like a Deere. :)
