It's been reported that this is really just ABC trying to recoup some of the $100 million in ad revenue that was pre booked for the show...
They're just couching it in an 'effort to save jobs', to garner sympathy viewers.

I can't see the show lasting another season past this. I didn't watch the old show, but tried watching the new show because I heard Rosie was now a Trump supporter. Don't see that much on TV. But after some of the cast went public and stabbed her in the back (after all she did to start and revamp their careers), I don't wan't any part of this shit. Been watching Roseanne Barr since the early 80's when she used to do Carson and Rodney Dangerfield specials. The show she started this year was pretty good, stupid PC shit got her fired..................

She was drunk, batshit crazy or possibly both. I remember years ago when she publicly accused both of her parents of raping her as a child after undergoing hypnosis. She later recanted and that her memories came from taking drugs for some psychiatric condition. I'm leaning towards batshit crazy on this one. Probably belongs in an asylum.
