I am all for reparations. Any one who can prove that they were a slave before the civil war can receive a share. They will also be the oldest person alive at 150+ years old.

I agree with this. Except the reparations need to be paid by anybody that owned slaves.

Will all the previous slaves and slave-owners, please stand up?

So are they also saying that the African tribes owe reparations to American blacks too? Since they were the ones who captured and sold other Africans to the Muslim slave traders. And what about those Muslim slavers? Is Saudi especially, being the land of the two holy mosques Makkah and Madinah, but other Muslim nations also, going to pay?

My Grandfather and grandmother came over after the civil war. If my sisters research is right I had a couple distant cousins killed fighting for the north. Do these people that want reparations have to give me money? I did lose family members on their behalf.
