How can I help you, and/or make you smile, today?

The problem with being on social media, is that you know too many people that you don't know.

Joy is not a feeling. It is a strength. Some people are stupid, that's all there is to it. (And sometimes that stupid person is me/you.) Sometimes you just have to let stupid people be stupid. Don't let stupid steal your joy.

Holding onto unforgiveness and resentment is like drinking poison and expecting that other person to die. Anger will eat you up.

What?!?
Are you saying it can't identify as a plane even if it wants to?

The missile launched at Whidbey Island was not from the Base, it was an Unauthorized launch from a Trident Submarine transiting the canal perhaps affected by an external hack. This has the Navy very concerned, that is why they are trying to attribute it to being a medical helicopter. Helicopters are lifted by whirling blades not by rocket fuel. Missiles should never be launched without proper protocol, this one was and they would never be launched from Puget Sound. They would be out to sea to launch and would be in deep water to be protected from retaliation. This launch was not planned.

Welcome to WaGuns.

If your version is correct, this is the biggest failure of national security protocols in my lifetime.
I served on SSBNs, and they do not accidentally launch missiles.

Random thoughts.
Image
The "flame" is not centered under the object.
The image is from a 20 second exposure. Very strange results can show up from long exposure photos.

Trident missile launch

There are people up and awake and active at 3:56am.
If it was a bright missile launch, the reports should include many eyewitnesses. Missiles are VERY bright and very loud.
Notice how bright the sky looks... That camera is gathering light for 20 seconds before closing the shutter.

I am still leaning towards a prosaic explanation.

If no one reported such sounds, then it wasn't a launch.

Just remember the 'object' is time lapsed too, we aren't seeing it in it's true form, could just be a small section of the aircraft illuminated by the landing lights, and now stretched out in appearance due to the time lapse

Thats a valid point. Take your realistic and boring hypotheses and go home.
