Good Money after Bad

Seattle Mayor Derp'n says Seattle is "safer" after the attack on a tourist recently... Why, you ask?

Well, she's going to blow another $13 million to create 3 new "mini-villages"; temporary (nightly?) housing for 112 people. $116k per person by my reckoning.

So... she sold an "old city communications building" and bought? will lease? but in any case will renovate an old apartment building in Belltown.

She hinted that anti-camping codes will be enforced once this project is completed.

Questions:
-will all three "mini-villages" be in the one building (one per floor?)?
-what is the value of the potential income of the building being sold were it leased?
-what was the cost analysis of NOT using the old communications building for these new villages?
-how thrilled are Bell Town residents?

Do you feel safer?

Their sugar tax, and gun/ammo tax will take care of it. :ROFLMAO:
BTW they have been talking about doubling the gun tax since it worked so well. :rofl9:

That reminds me of the apartment building village in the Judge Dredd movie ( I think) , the future is now.

I was talking with a gentleman at outdoor emporium and he was telling me that other than a couple FFL's they are the only one selling guns in Seattle. Not sure how true that is, because I refuse to buy guns or ammo in Seattle city limits.

City is saying that aggravated assault has surge 10 percent in the city. Feeling safer yet? Mayor says we're safer now that tourist have been attacked (odd logic, no?)

Another attack just yesterday. Man and women were attacked. SHE produced a collapsable baton and tried to employ it in her defense, but was disarmed by her assailant and both she and her companion were then beaten with it....

3rd attack by a homeless person in a month.

Time to bring back mental hospitals and get the violent mentally ill off the street yet?
