The mainstream media are frothing at the mouth at the inhumane treatment of the poor migrants and their children at our southern border, but are they telling you the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth? Of course not! There is much more to the issue than they're telling us, and I think it's because they want to motivate people to get out and vote in the midterms (against Trump & the GOP).

Media's going nuts complaining about separating the kids. But if the kids were in jail with their parents they'd be screaming about that.

What the libs/media want is total open borders and amnesty.

To hear the news reporters all these kids are being kept in dog kennels.

When I went to school there was chain link fence everywhere. They used it to keep us from wandering off but nobody went on TV and raised a ruckus.

I actually have heard some news reporters point out that Trump is just enforcing the law by prosecuting those who are illegally entering the country. Previous administrations have caved to the "feel good crowd" and just released the parents if they promised to return for their court dates. We all know how well that worked. Even if put in an ankle bracelet a pair of sturdy scissors made short work of that.

Now if the adults were fitted with neck collars like those in the movie Total Recall I'd say lets go back to just "tag and release". Let them know what happens if they don't show for court and I'll bet people would be lining up outside the courthouse days before their hearing just to be sure they weren't late.

As far as some Republicans being afraid they might lose their upcoming bid for re-election, that might be a good thing if they're replaced by REAL Republicans, not ass kissing RINO's.

This is a 2-decade old law, applied fairly and humanely, at great US Taxpayer costs, and is a problem because the southern border remains largely unsecured. A few key points.
1. These laws were put on the books under POTUS Clinton around 1997. They have been enforced to varying degrees since then. But the laws are antiquated and promote smuggling kids.
2. The POTUS is enforcing the law. Congress can fix it. Leftists want him to act unilaterally with an Executive Order or policy, but the correct route is Congress.
3. The US Tax payer is pouring money into this, and these kids and families of LAW BREAKERS are entitled to NOTHING but given extremely good treatment.
4. Our money could be better spent on helping poor and homeless American adults and kids.
5. 50 THOUSAND illegals coming EVERY MONTH. That's almost TWO THOUSAND per day. A backlog of 600,000 or more cases as a result. No organization can handle this absurd volume of people who feel entitled to come here.

Think back 20-30 years ago. Think of the demographics then. Did you ever even hear Spanish or have to read it on products or phone hold-tree recordings? Were illegals committing massive crime waves like today? Was ID theft and welfare fraud a really big issue then? Illegal and uninsured drivers? I don't remember ever having to deal with these issues like we do today, with our current hostile invasion of illegals trying to come here and take over our nation.
