Hotel in Olympia?

In a little over a week I am going down to Olympia to finally meet my sister and I am going to grab a hotel so in the morning when she gets there we can spend the day together. I wanted to see if anyone had a hotel they could recommend while I am down there. I am not looking for a fancy hotel but also don`t want a hotel room that is bug infested with meth room service. Appreciate any recommendations.

Reminds me of Centralia on our way back from touring all the lighthouses from WA to the California border.
Found a coupon at a rest stop for a hotel that had a $34.99 room.
The hotel manager got off work at 6pm and was in the parking lot turning tricks and hitting a meth pipe.

To me, Lacey and Tumwater are adjacent to Oly. Mcmenamins is in Centralia, 30 miles south. Just an FYI.

never stayed there, but have played pool, watched movies, had dinner and beers quite often

You are going to meet her in Oly and then do stuff, IN OLY? If that's the case, there are numerous hotels in downtown that would all be decent. All then walking distance to numerous restaurants, waterfront views, parks... And at night, bum fights, and heroin needle dart games.

We are meeting at my brothers house but damn if she is related to me she has got to enjoy a good bum fight right?

I have never had a bad experience at La Quinta. I have stayed in them over 1000 nights. The one in Olympia is newer.

Are you talking about the new one in Tumwater? Yeah that one went in about a year ago. A friend of mine stayed there with his kids while he was being relocated by the Army. He liked it. My brother stayed there with a girlfriend when they came to visit and both gave it a thumbs up.
