I do believe the property taxes will fall next year, not rise. From what I have head on KBI, they have capped county levies but doing that required the property rate to increase. We are in the year where we have still have the levies and are paying the higher rate. Next year the levies should fall off. Our state had a 3 billion of extra revenue due to the economy. They could have given us a return for the increase in property tax rate buy they decided to pocket the money.

That's interesting because I read recently that taxes were expected to INCREASE 16% next year.
I'll try to find the source for that.

Mine increased $386, or around 10%.

Percentage rate might go down but the assessed values will likely go up.
