Guy in Mercedes goes around stealing tip jars

$35? That wouldn't even cover a lug nut or a radio knob.
My FIL had a couple of Mercedes diesels, tail light lens is $350

Remember a case awhile back, guy stole a tip jar from a bar, maybe $10.
Barmaid grabbed it back from him, which made it Robbery 2 instead of theft.
He was sentenced to 8 years under WA sentencing reform act.

Security video shows the man waited until the worker turned her back and then he quickly grabbed the tip jar and took off.

“I think it’s real petty,” Flores said, “you don’t want to work for your money and you’d rather just steal tips that we get?”

Officials said the thief struck again the very next day!

This time at the Bodhi Leaf Coffee Traders in nearby Canyon Country.

Wearing the exact same hat and glasses, the suspect again waited for the worker to step away before swiping the tip jar it and rushing out with it to his pricey car.

The grand total of loot taken from both businesses? Only $35.

Are they sure it was really a Mercedes?

I saw a early 2000s Mitsubishi Eclipse with a Mercedes badge on the trunk yesterday

What kind of poser swaps badges to pretend to drive a Mercedes you ask?

Probably the same kind of douche that steals tip jars.

Ya, I've seen badge swapping before...................
Usually a Chrysler 300 disguised as a Bentley.

Not like the good grill swapping they had in the 70's, VW Bug with a RR Grill.
Nobody could tell. :ROFLMAO:
