The whole immigration thing in media look to me like "oh no, they're enforcing the law let's protest".
My message to them:
You come illegally through the border and pretend a red carpet? you endanger the lives of your children and then complain when they take them to a shelter because you go to jail? do you want a slap in the wrist and a ride back to Juarez? NO, due process need to happen and while that happen you're in jail and that is no place to keep the children you just endanger in this endeavor. Your children is going to a shelter where government will do their best effort to keep them safe. And all of this courtesy of people paying taxes which you didn't plan to do right? coming illegally usually end up in "under the table" jobs with no money flowing to IRS.
I came legally to US and I tell you it is amazing. Try it some day.
You are the type of immigrant that this country needs and wants - the kind that obeys the law, contributes, and appreciates the opportunity to be here.
I've long thought that the people most insulted by this advocacy for illegal immigration are the ones who spent the time and money to come here legally. Turning a blind eye to the ones who are doing it wrong is a slap in the face to the ones who do it right. The fact that this is not the primary concern of the Left, who claim to be the voice of immigrants, betrays their true agenda, which is to stop enforcing our borders. There can only be one reason for that, and we know damn well it's not "compassion"...
