They are averaging 7.1 mph, up from 6.7 yesterday.
Tropical Depression Emily (lower right of Sat photo) is forming near mexico and moving in a NW direction but too soon to predict what their course of action will be if there appears to be an intersection of paths. http://images.intellicast.com/WxImages/ ... gepac1.gif
There is also Tropical Depression "Fabio" forming too. That would be a many boner-killer too.

No word from Scott since day 2, not surprising though.
This is the approx location today. Fabio, now considered a hurricane, is gaining strength, flexing his abs. The question is now, does Fabio turn north? If it stays on its current track, our boat people should be fine, they appear ahead of an intersection with the hurricane.
They're making good speed at 7.9 mph.

A little extra wind might get him here quicker?

If Fabio was blowing wind up my ass it would certainly get me moving faster (away!)

Rocket Scott is sailing!!! :ROFLMAO:
Seriously though that is one helluva bold adventure sailing across the Pacific over 2000 miles. Definitely ballsy.

Google just revealed 2678 air miles icon_eek At that rate it is 382 hours or roughly 16 days. I really hope that RocketScott is not prone to seasickness.

I made that trip a few times. Once on a destroyer once an Oiler and again on a oceanography ship.

Wow - hope all is well. Look blown off course, or serious changing storm winds.
