Good to know that the people nominally in charge of investigating and reporting 'the truth' in our society are just rehashing the infamous myth about shotguns that you just have to point them in the general direction of your target and there is no possible way you can miss. In their defense, the shotgun has only been around for, what, a couple hundred years, so it's not like there's really been enough time for the average fact checker to figure out how one actually works.

All the misguided "ARs are weapons of war" nonsense, when the ole' goose gun is just as lethal. The point is that all of this gun-ban nonsense is exactly that: non-sense. No guns are inherently signicantly more or less lethal in the hands of a motivated evil killer. A deer rifle, a squirrel rifle, a target rifle, a shotgun, or a machete. You're not going to ban your way to safety, and in fact plenty of evidence to the contrary.

MD is among the most strict gun control states in the nation, and here we are. 5 dead and 2 wounded in an office shooting with a duck gun. If that's not an argument against gun control, I don't know what is.
