Hi All:
Do any of you have a solution to getting a stuck CD out of my car player. The car is a 2016 but I did not buy it new so I am hoping to find a way to remove the CD on my own.
Thanks for the help.

Take a paperclip, straighten it out.
Bend one end with pliers into L shape so its only about 1/8 long and try fish it out by inserting the paperclip in with your "hook" in horizontal position and then turning it vertically when you get in deep enough.

Some CD players have a tiny little hole somewhere near the slot for the cd.
The hole is so tiny, a bent out paperclip will barely fit in the hole.
If yours has that hole, bend out a paperclip, and stick it in that hole.
There is something inside there, that when you push on it with the paperclip, the CD will eject.
This works even when there is no power to the cd player.

Car CD players don't usually have a tray with a pinhole release.
They have a multi roller direct transport mechanism.
Better off cycling power to the unit.

I have experience with this one, so pay close attention:
remove the stereo
hit it with a mini-sledge until the CD is in pieces
shake it until the CD pieces fall out. If they don't all come out, you might have to smash a little more
if it won't smash, use a cat's claw of flat bar to pry away any obstructions
re-install your stereo and enjoy!

1. Mode to “Bluetooth”
2. Connect Bluetooth enabled audio device
3. Forget about stuck CD

You forgot step one. Fuck around with a paper clip, than a fork, and then a pair of needle nose pliers for an hour first.
