Seattle has officially become the first major U.S. city to ban restaurants from giving plastic straws and utensils to customers in an effort to help the environment.

$1 bills.
I remember back in the 80's a guy rolled up a $100 bill at a party and was passing around some coke on a mirror.
Came back as an empty mirror, no coke or $100 bill. And everyone denied stealing the bill or snorting all the coke.
Junkie fucks!

This will be a boon for the Seattle tourist industry.
People will come for miles to watch people at the Dairy Queen eat Blizzards with their fingers.

just another item for people to drive out of the city to buy. 1. Sweeten drinks 2. Guns and ammo 3. plastic utensils. Let me guess, the stadiums are exempt?

Even funnier watching someone eat the Ivar's clam chowder down at the ferry dock.

Eww!

Quote:
In a 2017 study published in the journal PLOS ONE, researchers swabbed $1 bills from a bank in New York City to see what was living on paper currency. They found hundreds of species of microorganisms. The most abundant were ones that cause acne, as well as plenty of harmless skin bacteria. They also identified vaginal bacteria, microbes from mouths, DNA from pets and viruses.

The stadiums have already been using compostable products for a while now. I suppose everybody will now.

What do they use for forks? Paper?

Never mind: Made from a proprietary resin derived from a renewable resource of cellulose wood and grass fiber.

I keep a full set of cutlery in my car and in my desk at work. Only takes a second to clean up after a meal, and I don't have to worry about utensils pretty much ever.
