There was another guy looking like he was filming it, that left with him, that has been seen on his FB/Youtube.... I think one of his friends was recording him, so he could post it for the ultimate virtue signaling, not realizing it was gonna blow up in his face...

Yesterday, in the lineup, there was this thread, and right after it, was the second civil war letters thread.

So, it is "sickening" when the left cheers violence. And mocks those whom violence is done against. (It is.)

But it's ok for the right to do the same...

If you are going to do it, then don't act like it's the scummiest thing ever when the opposition does it.

If it bothers you so much, when they do it, then it is wrong for you to do it.

When did 'the right' bring violence? I haven't been following this much lately, but the way I see it the left is bringing the violence in both cases.

If the right has a rally, or a conservative speaker, the leftist hoard shows up to shut it down with violence. Or they just show up for no reason and bring violence. I never see the 'right' show up and create mayhem for no reason. Or even go to cause trouble at leftist parades; like 'Pride' parades. Can you imagine?

The Antifa / Anarchists / Liberals are bringing the violence to silence speech they don't like. Or election results they don't like. Or whatever they don't like du jour. This is the left being violent, and when they get punished, in this case vigilante justice when the 'Patriots' fight back, we cheer.

Being a conservative sitting in a restaurant trying to eat is not violence. Wearing a MAGA hat in a restaurant is not violent. The leftist nutjobs may say it is, but it isn't. This is the left being violent again, and when they get punished by the justice system we cheer.

Why can’t people be mature adults these days? What’s changed so much in the last decade, people think they can act out in this manner and it’s okay?

I was thinking the exact thought yesterday. Even in the 60's and early 70's it was rage and rightly so against the Gov, and yes there were some group tussles. But not like this childish shit. That guy is some kind of machowuss.

Yeah I would echo this sentiment. When you have Maxine Waters, an elected official, basically calling for violence against members of the political opposition both in the administration and the general public then this kind of childish and criminal behavior is inevitable.

It portends a political future closer to the Weimar Republic, with its open street battles between the SA and violent leftists, or the waning days of the Roman Republic, also characterized by open and politically motivated street thuggery, than it does to civilized political disagreement more appropriate for a modern democracy.
