Maybe. I did think he was a bit too forthcoming with his interview ... but even so, maybe that’s what it took to keep the guy subdued.

Navy folk, for the most part in my experience, have no idea wtf they’re doing with guns. Then there are those jobs in the army where guns aren’t a big priority, i.e. officers or rear echelon folks who know next to nothing about guns.

Some Army officers are pretty proficient with arms...though more than a few of that group are prior enlisted.

After working at Cabela's I finally quit trying to correct people. Retired Army buddy just called an AR-15 an assault rifle, and I almost went ballistic. Insert throw in the towel emoji.
