Disarmed an armed intruder and gouged his eyes out.....
You may not have a plan, but when you act, act with intent, act with violence, and don't stop. It may just save your life.
I'd bet $$$ that guy is from the tidewater flats in VA....... I know that accent well...

Good for him. Well done, sir.
But now I want to know ... did the intruder die? Did he lose his eyesight? Or any brain matter?

I have always thought the most dangerous weapon a man possess is his mind...

Sheesh. He's going to jail for retaliating after the threat was neutralized. He sat on the guy and kept poking his fingers in the eyes until the police got there, AFTER disarming the thief.

Maybe. I did think he was a bit too forthcoming with his interview ... but even so, maybe that’s what it took to keep the guy subdued.

More than you realize.
Navy folk, for the most part in my experience, have no idea wtf they’re doing with guns. Then there are those jobs in the army where guns aren’t a big priority, i.e. officers or rear echelon folks who know next to nothing about guns.

Some Army officers are pretty proficient with arms...though more than a few of that group are prior enlisted.

After working at Cabela's I finally quit trying to correct people. Retired Army buddy just called an AR-15 an assault rifle, and I almost went ballistic. Insert throw in the towel emoji.
