A step in the right direction?

Could this be a signal that some besides just the right are tired of the bullshit, mayhem and unchecked terrorist activities perpetrated by the far left in this country?

‘Unmasking Antifa Act' includes 15-year prison term proposal

Under the act, anyone "wearing a mask" or in disguise who "injures, oppresses, threatens, or intimidates any person ... in the free exercise or enjoyment of any right or privilege" would be subject to a fine or up to 15 years in prison.

Good. If you are proud of your cause, than show your face.

Pretty soon even wearing a mask or facial cover won't matter as facial recognition software is getting better and better. I read an article posted last year about how tech is coming along where they can even identify people wearing full facial masks. The antifa people say they don't want the backlash from their community or work, but based on the look of them I doubt many of them are working in solid professional settings.

This unmasking stuff reminds me of a graphic novel called The Private Eye. The premise of the story takes place in the future which society has abandoned the internet due to 'the cloud' bursting and everyone's information is out in the open. People where holographic masks to hide their identity. Sort of a mystery series.
