I could write a book on the article itself. I wish her luck but with the few details given its already obvious she has no clue. As usual in a Dem strong hold let's try every stupid thing again. Maybe this time it might work. Leads me back to that definition of insanity. Anyway enough on that
the comment basically sums up the Governments way of dealing with a crisis. Most usually seen by the left but there is plenty of it on both sides too.

This department will create new homeless spaces to study’s homelessness and recommend solutions to create other departments that will build commissions to study’s the tax we need to create to support all this great community work.”

SPD used to arrest them, detox them in jail, and drop them off down South outside of the city limits.
System seemed to work pretty well.
I remember seeing the detox vans cruising the downtown streets in the 70's picking up drunks and bums.

The guy who invented Narcan is a billionaire.
I say do NOT administer Narcan for resessitation.
Then give them free herioin.
The problem will fix itself.
The other option is, BUILD THAT DAMN WALL! 92% of the heroin that comes over the border is Mexican Brown, it's made in South and Central America.
Only 8 percent comes from AG.
Once the wall is in place, and the ground penetrating radar like Israel uses for detecting tunnels, the herioin will dry up , most of it.
