Are any of y'all subscribed to this? I ignored it for a while, but finally succumbed and signed up for it. Basically, the U.S. Postal Service will send you an email every tell showing you what you're getting in the mail that day, not including the mass mailing shit. Some days I get emails that show me stuff like this: Some days I just get this: And every time I get one of these emails, all I want is a check box that looks like this: I used to be religious about getting the mail every day; now I find that I'm giving less of a shit, and I'm letting it stack up for a few days before getting it. I'm really trying to figure out the advantage of these emails. I get it, if you're receiving something super-important then you can be sure to be home, or get the mail, or whatever. /bitch

Had it for awhile. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.

We used it when someone stole the neighborhood mailbox. It let me know if it was worth a trip into town to get the mail. Now like you I mostly ignore it and just get the mail each night regardless. After a few times getting mail ripped off I try not to leave anything over night, especially when our carrier forgets to lock the case, or the package lockers.

I have it. It’s been handy since I get mail at my shop. Some days I don’t need to go over there except to get the mail. If there’s nothing worthwhile I don’t have to make the trip.

I'm registered in it. My mailman is pretty worthless, so I like it that I know if something is missing and I can follow up with the sender. Also, it has a missing mail report system. I try to use that when mail is missing, but most of the time it shows up the next day.

If it doesn't work 99.9% of the time, then it's pretty worthless. Kinda like those stupid bike rental apps. If I can only actually ride 1 in 5 bikes I come across, then the convenience factor doesn't exist.

I’ve been using it for a while now. I love it! Let’s me know when I need to check the PO Box.

Sometimes I wonder if he takes the mail home and delivers it the next day. Have had packages that flagged an alert because they were loaded on the truck but not delivered within 8 hours. And they mysteriously showed up the next day, without being scanned at the post office. Still waiting for my CPL renewal, on day 32 now. NYC mailman used to bring home all the Christmas cards and lay them on his apartment floor. Trained his dog to sniff out cash from Grandma.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn’t know it was a service provided by the most unreliable mail service in exsistence.
