Judge Linda Krese has ruled that testing positive for Meth is not sufficient grounds for determining impairment.

Therefore she found a defendant NOT guilty of vehicular manslaughter when he piled his truck into the rear end of a passenger van and killed two little kids, a 2 year old and a twelve year old. The crash also left the driver with brain damage and severely injured two other little kids.

Just out of pure curiosity, how long after one does meth does it turn up in your system? 1,2,3 weeks? I’m not defending this decision, I feel a person should be charged with possession by simply testing positive. But if the guy did meth 3 weeks ago was he still under the influence?

Problem with meth and driving is not totally the meth.
It's more the lack of sleep causing hallucinations, paranoia, and aggressive and sometimes bizarre behavior with constant use.
US military has used it as a combat stimulant to improve alertness.

Adderall and meth are not the same. Similar but not the same. I have been on adderall most my adult life and have never picked my skin and still have all my teeth.
