Why Go to Brazil?

All of the violent crime and the violent responses to that crime you can see on youtube....
well, it's coming to a city near you! Yakima:

maybe she just robbed him or killed his dog. That'd be enough to get someone to hit anyone. too bad, I heard the guy was just turning his life around.

Well, if you are in fear for your life or those around you, then you can shoot to stop the threat. And if you don't have a gun, then a bat will work too.

I would go to southern Brasil to escape crime, for sure. Brasil is a large place, almost all the crime is in Rio, and it's nasty, no doubt about it. Sao Paulo (largest Japanese population outside of Japan) is bad as well, but not so bad. Any city such as Curitiba on down (in size AND latitude) is way, way WAY WAY better than most any city in the USA.
