I used to love that game (mouse vs) complicated nintendo games. They finally have a new C&C game out,but it's that buy this and that to get points like FOE BS. Is there any C&C type games that I can get on disk so that I don't need internet to play?

You can get an open source version of the original at http://www.openra.net/. Granted you would still need internet to play online unless you enjoy playing against bots.

I wouldn't let my MOMMA do to my computer what some of those games and players want to do to it... I've loved games like AOE Warcraft, diablo, C and C, and a bunch of D&D and other RPG type games... All, right up to the point where you HAD to go online to play. I don't play that game...

Nuclear launch detected. Thanks for the link. One of the best RTS games ever. Only third to Total Annihilation/Supreme Commander and Starcraft.

Holy cow it's been a long time! I was a volunteer on the original beta test team a very long long long long time ago. Back when computer CPU was measured in how much coal it burned.

Supreme Commander is an excellent RTS. I loved using a secondary monitor as my mini-map.

If you watch Steam, it's on sale for $9 with all expansions (Forged Alliance is the pinnacle, the peak, the big kahuna) from time to time.

I should replay it on my 70" screen.
