Rapper gets 12yrs after Facebook confession

Happens a lot.
Few years back a guy turning his life around and was then a youth pastor and drug counselor was on Oprah telling about how he turned his life around.
A detective involved in the case was watching the show and said "Did he just confess to an unsolved murder on national television???"

Nykees Earl Campbell wanted to rap about what was real. So he posted rantings in rap videos on YouTube and Facebook Live about his violent war with a rival gang, which played out with deadly consequences on the streets of Dallas.
It was exactly what prosecutors needed in their bid to give Campbell serious federal prison time. They say they matched up his words with actual crimes, including an ambush robbery in which he allegedly shot a man eight times while he was asleep in bed.

What the hell does this mean? Hasn't been charged with any of the crimes but a judge sentenced him to 12 years for the crimes?

When you name your kid after basketball shoes, shit is bound to happen. Sad part is, it sounds like this guys was actually doing something with his life. I hope he keeps it up while he is in prison.

He hasn't been charged with that murder. Plead guilty to guns and drugs charges tho.
