I was trying to think of something nice to say after the Subaru razzing...

C'mon, Subaru in left lane going 47 running from the law....kinda funny, right?

I know youdon't drive like that, but they have a rep for a reason....

I guess now, though, you get there even Sooner....

unless either plate is a discounted rate over a normal plate, I vote neither. Even though I'm in the Midwest now, I try to keep a low profile. There are still bad people. I don't have branch insigna on my car like I used to in the early days in WA.

That aside, I should have taken my DD214 to the DMV to get the Veterans stamp on my DL. I just didn't think about it that day. Check with OK and see what paperwork you need if they have that option. Also check with your state VA to see what monetary benefits there are.

Retiree card was adequate for my vet DL. No I don't get a discount, and I'm not that paranoid about having a vet plate. I'm proud of my service. The fact that I was able to do 21 years still baffles me. My plate frame has "wagun.org", and "Avenger Master Gunner", which is even more appropriate since I am once again going to be an Avenger instructor. Also in OK we aren't required to have a front plate, so the ADA plate I've had for years as a wall display can now be put on my car.
