That song is terrible. I get they wanted a local artist so it works with it being Macklemore but man I'd be happy never to hear that again. It looked like they had fun and its definitely a bit more...polished over other ones I've seen. Shows off the city quite a bit......but funny how they stayed clear of all the homeless camps. It is kind of interesting though how all the other PD's its just showing off the PD and just having fun...but Seattles felt like a huge production to try to show off the city
But I'm wondering how much $$$$ was spent on this.
The patrol car ones are still my favorite. Just fun and goofing around

I may not care for Durkin, or Seattle in general. Some of these first responder videos are very well done, and some are down right amazing.

Some of those are pretty good. I just hope the cops are doing all this on their OWN time and not when they are on duty and getting paid. "A Robbery? Sorry mam, all of the officers are in rehearsal, we'll have a unit stop by tomorrow."

One of the good things about these videos is they are easing the tensions of the anti-cop rhetoric going around. OMG cops are human beings. Instead of the they are all bad just because they have a badge. There are bad people in every profession. Military, LEO, etc, and Microsoft all have their bad apples. Let them have some fun even if they are on the clock. The public needs to see the human side.

A lot of the departments are doing this on their own time. Some on their lunch breaks, some after they are off. Also, it's not like it's hard to stop, get in the car, and drive to the call.
And remember this is Seattle. The police aren't allowed to do their jobs anyway.

According to a TV news story a few days ago (and you know THOSE are always true ), all of the officers did this on their own time and there was no cost to that city for that part of it.
The city did pay for other cops to direct traffic during the filming, and I suspect there were some other miscellaneous expenses. However, the story as told to the media anyhow is that for the most part this was a volunteer effort.
We need to lighten up, lets have some fun. The was it on the clock crap, is just that crap who cares? You want something to complain about? Try ST3, and how much your plates cost now. $3.25 per gallon, $26 for 1.75 bottle of liquor, 594, and, etc.
