But as an officer you should have a standard of ethics that is higher than your clientele. In my experience cops will lie thru their teeth to get what they want.

How many of you have been pulled over and a cop just starts making up shit that he thinks are laws? Then if you site the actual law/RCW the cop will then call you a smart ass and give you a ticket for something else.

I have learned (the hard way), cops are ALWAYS right. Judges may decide later that you were mo righter than the cop. Cops are not always HONEST. When a cop is dishonest and you have to waste working time in a court to defend yourself, while they get no punishment.


I answered your question, Yes I lie to many folks. But never to manipulate them or for cruel or corrupt reasons. I tell the neighbor I like her strange veggie dishes all the time.
