We’re currently responding to the NW Detention Center after numerous complaints of criminal activity. Temporary fencing had been torn down and used to create a barricade in the street, several broken pallets had been used to reinforce the barricade and anarchist symbols had been painted on it. Roofing tacks had been dumped across the roadway to damage vehicle tires. We’re taking action against anyone found to be responsible for criminal acts that cause destruction of property or endanger the lives, safety or well-being of citizens there to demonstrate peacefully, or those in the facility. We will continue to maintain a safe and peaceful location for those who lawfully exercise their First Amendment rights, and for those who have lawful business with the facility.
