Defense was Porous, offensive line was porous, and Russel needs to learn to throw the Damn Ball away sometimes.

Well as long as they keep insisting on keeping Pete around don't expect much to change.
Offensive line still can't get it done. As usual. This many years in a row that reflects on the coaches as much as the players. It isn't working but yet Carrol and his ring of clowns keeps trying the same old thing, somehow expecting different results!

Once again Wilson shows that pressure him a bit and he folds and starts making mistakes. This is what you get when you have a too short QB who is no longer as young as he was.

Well, they did go to back to back Superbowls with a too short QB and Pete at the helm. So there is that.

Tom Cable had Carte Blanche with the Offensive Line, you know that, right?

He had a unique and unprecedented role in that he scouted and drafted his own players....what he wanted, Pete & John tried to get him.

They drafted 17 lineman while Cable was here to address the problem, not to mention bringing in free agents.

One huge problem is that, unless they're playing at Alabama, Ohio State, or Notre Dame, they aren't really coached up like NFL lineman, and many don't get down in the traditional stance.

These guys come out now like Freshman in college, and it takes years for them to get good.

We are now getting back a more traditional style of running, with Solari as O-line coach.

Pete got rid of 8 assistants, and brought others back. Things are looking up, despite your 1 game over-reaction.

And Wilson's been here since 2012, gone to two Super Bowls, Pro Bowls, etc., but now he's too short?

:ROFLMAO:

Here's one of a number of articles Solari & the O-line, if interested:

Mack is going to literally make Ifedi his bitch for 4 quarters. Russ will be lucky to not get broken into ity bity pieces tonight.

I will stick with my initial gut pick for the record this year, 7-9 or 8-8 if we are lucky but I could see a 6-10 season if the injury bug lingers around.

Wilson was horse-collared on that end zone hit...

Should've gotten rid of the ball before that, but he was still horse-collared.

Would've gone down anyway, but still...

He needs to learn to throw the ball away. Ifedi got thrown to he ground on the same play by Mack too.

I agree 100%, shouldn't have been in that position...

We all forget, though, that he has started slow every year...out of the gate, he's always holding the ball, too much in his head...

He's also slow-starting in games, generally...

We should be down 21-0, but it's only 7-0...

If we keep it close, we're in it in the 4th.

Our defense, and field position with our punter, is key...

Playing all those years behind a shitty oline has ruined Russ.

Even when there is no pressure, he feels pressure.

Seattle plays well in a hurry up, I don't know why they don't do more of it.
