O line is the real difference this year after the first 12 sacks in 2 games. Then the running game and O line came to work. Anyone see that pancake block that Fluker put on the Raider DT in the last drive.

HOLY MOLY.

We have some really big, strong boys on the O line...and with Cable gone, and more simplified blocking schemes, they're starting to gel.

With Britt back at Center with a big contract, and the run game getting more focused, the big guys are feeling their oats.

At least we're holding onto the ball for awhile, so our defense is no longer gassed by the 3rd quarter these days.

This is Pete & John's scheme...control the clock by running the ball & take some hits downfield....

They're getting back to taking away the ball on defense, and our new punter is adding interesting quirks....

Fun to watch.

Go Hawks!

Amy Shumer has decided to NOT do Superbowl ads.... to support Crapper-dink.

Rihanna has decided to not perform at the half-time show... to support Colon Peckerstink...

If the rest of the kneelers would just quit the NFL to support the punk, then football might just be enjoyable again.

Yeah, kinda fun...

I'm rooting for Mullens, just for grins....easy to do without Kap or Harbaugh on the team :thumbsup2:

I'm tired of Gruden, but glad he's off my tv as a commentator

I think Gruden's believed his own hype, so this train-wreck is interesting to watch...

Speaking of Seattle... Let's review.
Start 0-2 against good and pretty good teams. has gone 4-1 since then. But let's review before we get to excited.
They lost to the Rams but played well. So Kudos for that.
Of their 4 wins, 1 was against the Raiders probably the worst team in the league this year.
1 win against SFO, not really surprising as they are one of the not very good teams and have lost their #1 QB already.
1 win against Detriot another bottom dweller
1 win against Arizona another not very good team this year. (Who should probably bee a bit better than they have shown.)

So as everyone who got excited when Seattle made the playoffs and then stunk it up, we all should remember that last season is looking a lot like this season. Seattle can usually find a way to win against the so-so teams in a very weak division and against the bottom dwellers elsewhere. But when they go against a good or playoff team all bets are off. Sometime they play great sometimes not so.

Also, the key to beating Seattle is to make sure in the first series or two you put Wilson on his rear end a time or two and the game is basically won. Time and again its clear if you can pressure Wilson early he never gets going and folds all to often.
And franklty until they dump Carol and his lack of leadership in controlling his players Seattle will be a good team but not a team like the Patriots or Green Bay became.

Maybe SFO has found something. Then again against the Raiders is a good place to get your feet wet.
Hopefully a Montana or Young.

I said it before, I'll say it again...it's a rebuilding year. 8-8 and miss the playoffs. I hope I'm wrong.

Hawks have yet to play San Francisco, so not sure where you are going with that.
Green Bay has won one Superbowl with Aaron Rodgers, the same as Pete with Russell.

Everyone knew this was a rebuilding year with how many core guys left or retired this past season. Sitting at 4-4 is pretty damn good at this point, I figured they would be an 8-8- or 7-9 team.

The political threads were making me nauseous, so I thought I'd come find a thread we can all agree on...
