Anyone care to make any rational guess or explanation of what these are? https://www.charlotteobserver.com/news/ ... 35470.htmlBY MARK PRICE September 03, 2018 09:33 AM Mystery square lighted object, apparently just disappears in the night sky. Embedded in the article is a 5 minute video of a hovering 6 lights in a triangular shape. Hovering with no obvious sound. I've been in and around helicopters and several helicopters would seem to me to be heard at this distance probably a few miles away. I've shared my sighting story many times and when I was about 12, I saw a hovering translucent triangle with 3 lights, not unlike the object in the video. That was probably 1986, definitely in the mid-1980s, when "modern" technology was transistor tubes and cassettes and landline phones. The stealth bomber was probably still in prototype or working design when I had my sighting in a rural mid-western state. I've been around aircraft a lot in my life, particularly in deployed combat theaters a decade ago. If we had silent and invisible aircraft, it was never apparent to me and I saw and heard (live and videos) plenty of fighter jets that contradicted any notion of silent and invisible. (E.g if we had them, we'd be using them.) One might make the argument that we don't want the enemy to get advanced technology in case of a crash and/or they are too cost prohibitive yet. Okay, I can accept that. But then why, for my entire life, have these been spotted around the nation and globe in places where they could crash and be expensive and recovered by anybody? It would seem these expensive high tech aircraft would be restricted to desolate and control airspace, and not the varied areas with civilian witnesses and urban/suburban locations or even metro areas.

I was visiting relatives in Phoenix when the famous Phoenix Lights incident happened. It flew right over where I was. It was something huge and triangular. It made no sound whatsoever and there's no fucking way it was flares being used by the military from Luke AFB.
I'd like to see if there's video of the picture. At first glance, it looks like the outer edges of some type of cell phone's reflection.

Comment about a reflection is interesting. I'm not seeing a reflection. There was another witness, per the article. Another picture from the article.

Hmmmm, maybe they're letting we lesser lifeforms know they're here and are watching. It's foolish to think we're the only ones in the entire universe.

Looks like a reflection of the sun/moon roof or something similar. I get similar reflections in my Jetta.

I will say it's odd that it's photographed at precisely the same angle in both pictures. Long odds on that happening...
