ZARIF WOKE UP TODAY! The doctors removed his breathing tube, he is able to talk and move his arms and legs.

THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR PRAYERS, POSITIVE THOUGHTS AND DONATIONS! I can't wait for Zarif to read all the messages of support from around the world you have sent. I know that you all helped lift him up over the past week, and will continue to do so!

The doctors will test him to find out caused him to go into cardiac arrest and to make sure there aren't any other medical issues to be addressed.

Please continue to keep Zarif in your prayers, thoughts and close to your heart as he recovers. It's going to be a long road, but he can do it!

By the way, if anyone is down near that Shell in Auburn, the guy running the Mexican Food Truck in the parking lot apparently did a lot to help save him, so, grab some tacos if you're near there

Zarif has been in good spirits since he woke up. He has been able to hold conversations, and even joke around with his friends when they visit. He has no memory of what happened inside the store that evening, which is the extent of his memory loss. We Thank God For That!

Yesterday, he was transferred to another hospital for surgery. I am still waiting on the specific details, but will share them with you as I find out.

Please keep Zarif and his family in your hearts and prayers. They mean so much to everyone.

Yeah, they FB'd all 3 were apprehended, and that was it...

Until charges are filed, probably won't know much more, and, since they were juveniles, we may never know, unless they are charged as adults for something...

The adult in the white tank top turns out to not have been with them, or involved, so far...

Last Thursday, Zarif was able to leave the hospital and go home. It's a blessing he is able to hug and kiss his wife and kids again.
