Any decent NRA renewal deals available?

Time to renew the NRA membership. Any good deals that you're aware of?

What do you get as a benefit of NRA membership, that causes you to search out the best deal instead of just giving them money? I've only been a member for 6 months, but isn't it basically a donation?

Yes it is essentially a donation, but occasionally cos like Cabelas and Sportsman’s Warehouse offer additional spiffs in the form of discounts. And if you are a sucker and register with the nra directly it costs $45 but I regularly see $25 offers, some of which include a duffel that gets smaller every year. They invited us to play the game, so I play it.

The Shooting USA guy always talks about how 'He' pays part of your fee, not sure how true that is.

Don’t sign up for a lifetime membership at the WAC show. They’ll charge you more, but make up for it by sending you a leather jacket that will sit in your closet for years. That’s until you get tired of moving it around and give it away in a PIF. The NRA Life membership deal is still going on...last time I checked it was 500-600, and that can be made in quarterly payments.

Called in today and asked them to renew me at $25, no hassle, no fuss, if you please. They honored it.
